We used budget repair for a computer that was giving me problems. I was in a tough spot because my classes started in less than 2 weeks. It was finished promptly, with an incredible price, and all through the process I was updated via text which I really appreciated. The drop off was quick, the pickup was quick, and the experience was great. If you have computer problems, I would definitely recommend using Budget Repair. It’s TRUE to its name!

This is the cheapest place you can find in town and customer service is also superior. If you find somewhere cheaper, he will beat the price by $10, but tbh that probably will not happen because he's already being very fair with prices. Higher value + cheaper price. The guy who works on your device is super nice, knowledgeable and humble. He charges a fair price and is completely honest about costs. He will go out of his way to look for cheaper alternatives unlike corporate chain repair places.

I originally took my chromebook to uBreakiFix and they needed to order a part. Nearly three weeks later, still no call. I took my service to Budget Repair. Prabh immediately knew what was wrong and what to do. When I picked it up, it was in excellent condition! It truly looks as though there was never any damage at all. I wish I knew about this place sooner. I’d give ten stars if I could!

Everything about my experience merits five stars! I had a screen replaced on a kindle fire, which Prabh did in a very reasonable time frame for a very reasonable price! He told me honestly what my options were and wasn’t pushy. He kept me up to date on when the part was ordered, expected to arrive, and had a very open schedule for drop off and pick up. Super nice, polite and professional. New loyal customer here, for sure!

Budget Repair did such an amazing job repairing a cracked screen on my iPhone 7. I am so impressed by their professionalism and customer service. The repair was half the cost of every other iPhone repair place in Lawrence and nearby towns. The price was fair, the work was excellent, and it was all done quickly and efficiently. This is the kind of small-business customer service you always hope for.

Realistic estimates, both price & time. Great communication; I was told what was wrong with my computer along with the options to fix it. I opted for complete makeover but slow shipping. When the parts arrived early, I got my computer back a few days early. When I went to pickup the computer, I asked about replacing the glass on my Android phone & diagnosing my granddaughter’s tablet. Budget Repair does them all.

Kind, competent, efficient and generous. My iphone was briefly submerged in water with no effects apart from some condensation trapped inside the camera lenses. Other techs weren’t willing to open the phone to clean the lenses but Budget Repair resolved the issue quickly. Honest, efficient service at a fair price — they exceeded my expectations.

My mom’s phone went into a bootloop and I was out of town so unable to help. It would have been easy for Budget to charge “diagnostic fees” or try replacing parts while charging her an arm and a leg but they were up front and honest. Budget checked out the phone extensively and let her know it wasn’t repairable, and she moved on. Honesty and transparency — highly recommend.

My dad recommended this place to me, and I'm very glad I came here! Prabh is very kind and helpful. The prices are great, and they go to great lengths to make sure that you are aware of everything and get the best service. They even offered me a backup computer for free while mine was getting fixed! I will definitely come here again!

Excellent customer service! There was some damage done during the repair and the new LCD ended up being defective. Prabh was upfront about the damage and ordered replacements immediately. Replaced both at no cost, and gave me a discount on the original repair price for the trouble. I would definitely recommend this business! Helpful, accommodating, and affordable.

HIGHLY recommend! I was having issues with my MacBook, and Apple quoted me a $500 repair to replace the entire keyboard for 1 broken key. After just a few short minutes, he determined my laptop was included in a previous keyboard recall. Apple immediately apologized for the misinformation, sent me a box, and fixed my laptop completely free of charge! Saved me $500!

This man right here is a master at what he does. I walked down the block to an ATM and back and had my screen fixed in like 15 minutes — he was waiting on me! Probably has the best deals in the country for tech repairs. Super nice dude. Nothing but good things to say. Easily the best place to go to for repairs in Lawrence.

They're upfront about prices and how the repair process works, the staff are well-versed in technology of all kinds too so you know exactly where to go if other places don't know what to do. 100% the cheapest place to go near Lawrence, I'd go out of my way to go here rather than a shop in Topeka! Also love that they offer recycling for technology!

Great service and pricing! USPS sent the part to a wrong address and the owner spent about two hours on the phone trying to contact USPS customer service to figure out where the part was. Really appreciate that. Once they got the part, they managed to fix and return my laptop within 24 hours! Highly recommend!

I came to Budget Repair to back up my laptop that would not even turn on. The battery had expanded to the point of cracking the touch pad. For one very reasonable fee, my laptop was backed up and later installed on my replacement laptop. He was available to personally help me set up my new computer. Very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and competent. I would highly recommend Budget Repair to anyone.
